Police confirm no reports of assault at Kilmarnock bus station following social media speculation

Police are unaware of an alleged assault at Kilmarnock bus station on Friday night. Reports have been widely shared on social media that a “young victim” was assaulted at the bus station on Friday, January 17.They allege that a woman involved was left with a bleed on the brain and described the incident as “serious”.

However, it is understood that Police Scotland have no record of any assault taking place in or around the bus station over the weekend.
