Police close main road in Bury amid 'medical emergency'

According to traffic alert service Inrix, it is closed in both directions from Manchester Road to Tenterden Street. Paramedics are also on the scene.

The incident is ongoing, with no further details about the man released at this stage. A spokesperson for GMP said: "Police were called at 11.15am by the North West Ambulance Service.
