A man has been charged in connection with an alleged early morning ram-raid on a convenience store in Dundee.Police were called to the Premier shop on Claypotts Road in Broughty Ferry shortly before 5am on Wednesday January 18 following reports of an alleged incident.
Pictures from the time showed a gaping hole in the window of the store and a green SUV parked outside, contained within a police cordon.
Officers now say they have arrested a 38-year-old man in connection with the incident. He is expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Thursday February 2.
In the meantime, enquiries are ongoing. Officers have stated their thanks to members of the public who have come forward with information linked to the investigation.The alleged incident saw the corner shop closed for several hours while forensics officers scoured the scene.
