The 'busy weekend' saw emergency services break up a gathering with 70 people committing anti-social behaviour, reunite missing children with their families and put out a number of barbecues on moorland around Rivington, Chorley Police has said.
The update comes after Bolton Council and United Utilities, which owns the heritage site around Rivington Pike, encouraged visitors to avoid the long-running Easter tradition of hiking up Winter Hill.
