Police are appealing for witnesses after a nine-year-old boy was allegedly assaulted in a park. The incident, on March 30, occurred at a play park in Tatton Park, in Knutsford.
Police were called to reports of an assault at around 3.45pm. Officers attended the scene and found the child involved. A woman was interviewed under caution and enquiries remain ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the incident. Anyone with information is being urged to contact the force. PC John Millman said: “The park was very busy that day with lots of visitors.
I’m very keen to hear from anyone who was there that day in the play park around 3.45pm and saw any incident between a boy and a female.” Anyone with information should contact Cheshire Police on 101 or via the website quoting IML 1789140.
