A man ran to a pub for safety after being threatened by masked thugs. The victim had been followed by a group of men after getting off the tram at Shaw and Crompton, in Oldham, on April 10.
At around 10.20pm, the victim was said to have had comments directed to him by the group, before he got off the service from Derker and started walking along Beal Lane.
Police said it is believed that the men then put on balaclavas before demanding the man handed over his belongings.
