P&O Cruises has revealed that its brand new cruise ship will be named Arvia, set to make her debut in December 2022. The ship, whose name means 'from the seashore' will boast a gross tonnage of 184,700 and will be the second Excel class ship powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG) to join the P&O Cruises fleet.
Arvia will be the sister ship to Iona which is set to debut later this year. P&O Cruises president Paul Ludlow said: "Arvia will join Iona as an innovative and future-focused ship offering an outstanding, varied and contemporary holiday.
