Davison, 22, killed five people including a young child before turning his gun on himself in a horrific shooting in Plymouth on Thursday.
Mum Maxine and fisherman dad Mark are understood to have lived on the island in the 1990s and his older siblings, Zoe and Josh, were born there.
The family moved back to Plymouth where Jake was born but it’s understood he spent time on Shetland with other relatives who live there.
