Play park packed with new equipment unveiled in Paisley's Foxbar

A play area packed with new equipment has been unveiled in Paisley’s Foxbar.Children can now make the most of the Morar Drive facility, which has accessible and inclusive equipment, as well as a climbing frame, zip line and swings.Councillor Stephen Burns, who is also depute convener of the Infrastructure, Land and Environment Policy Board, was delighted to see the completion of the project.It is one of 11 parks getting a revamp thanks to a £1million investment from the council.The SNP politician said: “It’s brilliant to see the completion of this park, which is packed with fun and exciting equipment for the children in the area, whether it’s the slide, swings, or zip line at this particular facility.“It gives them a great reason to get outside and enjoy the fresh air, and the works have come at an ideal time with the summer holidays around the corner.“Our parks and play areas are so important to families in Renfrewshire, which the council recognises and that is why this significant investment was made.Don't miss the latest headlines from around Renfrewshire.
