Plans unveiled for huge new leisure destination with golf simulation centre in Bury

A huge golf simulation centre with its own café bar is planned for Bury town centre. Hukd Golf plan to use the currently vacant Link House building on Walmersley Road for a brand new leisure destination for the town.

The centre would have simulators over two floors which would allow visitors to play a virtual round of golf, improve their swing on a driving range, take part in competitions and tournaments, have a round of crazy golf or play arcade games.

The plans also include a café bar and restaurant which Hukd Golf said they hoped would attract a young adult crowd to the attraction in the evenings.

Planning documents lodged with Bury Council in the past week include computer generated images of how the building would be transformed.
