An application has been lodged by Social Care Service Group to change the use of the property at Springfield Road, Kearsley from hot food takeaway and residential to use for the 24-hour residential support of children in the care of the local authority.
A design and access statement in support of the application, said: “The property will house up to three children, often siblings, with a care team sleeping on the premises to care and facilitate the well being of the children, much as a normal family situation.
