Plans for a statue honouring one of Craigneuk’s favourite football heroes is now gathering pace. The Tommy Gemmell Project, a community initiative which is fundraising to build a statue of Tommy in Craigneuk, is seeking to work in partnership with local schools and groups.
The initiative is looking to bring together a number local schools and volunteers from the community to inspire and empower the next generation of creative and talented young people.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
