In 1981, Lady Diana Spencer married the heir to the throne of the United Kingdom in Charles, Prince of Wales and they went on to have two sons: Prince William and Prince Harry.
The pair’s marriage ultimately collapsed as they separated in 1992 and divorced in 1996. The Princess of Wales died at the age of 36 following a car crash in Paris in 1997 along with her boyfriend Dodi Fayed and the driver Henri Paul.
