The 56-year-old former Good Morning Britain presenter was wearing in-ear headphones but it remains unclear whether it was a phone call or perhaps even a podcast that was causing him to crease up with laughter.
The broadcaster has more time on his hands after sensationally leaving the ITV flagship news show last month, and has been enjoying leisurely breakfasts at his favourite restaurants when he'd normally be busy on GMB Despite going through a time time over the last few weeks, it seems Piers has kept his sense of humour and is still able to have a good laugh.
