Piers Morgan jested his wife Celia Walden was in the spare room after moaning about waking up to him every day. Speaking on TODAY, the outspoken presenter playfully took aim at his wife for complaining about waking up with him now he had quit Good Morning Britain.
Instead Piers cheekily insisted Celia was "the luckiest woman in Britain" because she gets to spend lots of time with him now he's not working an early morning rota.
He said: "Well, it is extraordinary, isn't it? You've got millions of Brits who are in mourning because they can't wake up to me in the morning. "And there's my wife, who's the luckiest woman in Britain, who gets to do it every day, and yet she seems to see this as some kind of terrible thing in our lives.
