As much of the UK is plunged into a stifling heatwave - the idea of a quick dip or even leisurely linger in your own private pool - is one that many would dream off.
But the former GMTV presenter wasn't doing either as he showed of the idyllic setting on his Instagram story as he captioned the posts: "Just a perfect day...
32c" - while Lou Reed’s classic tune played in the background. The 56-year-old shared shots view from an elevated vantage point - possibly a balcony - with the scene below showing a glistening pool and circular set up with parasol to escape the scorching sun.
