Piers Morgan forced to miss Good Morning Britain due to coronavirus symptom

Fiesty Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan was forced to miss the programme today after displaying a 'mild symptom' of coronavirus.

The 55-year-old show host revealed over the weekend that he would not be appearing on today's show and as a precaution had taken a test to determine whether or not he actually has Covid-19.

He said: "UPDATE: On medical advice, and out of an abundance of caution for a mild symptom that arose in past 48hrs, I’ve had a test for COVID-19 and so won’t be working on @GMB until I get the result back, which should be tomorrow."
