Phillip Schofield’s £1million We Buy Any Car advertising deal has come to an end after five years. Just days ago fans noticed that the TV presenter’s image had been removed from the brand’s social media pages, despite having been the voice and face of the company's advert for the last few years.

Many put this down to ‘Queuegate’, the controversy surrounding Phillip and This Morning co-host Holly Willoughby, after the pair were accused of skipping the queue to see the Queen Lying-in-State ahead of her funeral earlier this month.

A petition was then set up to have the long-time presenters axed from the show and currently has over 75k signatures. ITV, and Phil and Holly themselves, have all denied the queue-jumping allegations, adding that they were at Westminster Hall in a professional capacity, while reporting on the Lying-In-State.

A spokesperson for We Buy Again Car released a statement to The Mirror, denying that queuegate had anything to do with the deal coming to and end.
