PGA Awards Nominations Postponed to Jan. 12 Amid L.A. Fires

Jazz Tangcay Artisans Editor The Producers Guild Awards nominations have been postponed from Jan. 10 to Jan. 12 due to the ongoing Southern California wildfires.

The organization said in a statement Thursday morning, “Due to LA County wildfires, the Producers Guild of America will be extending the voting window for the PGA Awards by two days until Saturday, January 11 to allow members additional time to cast their ballots.

The official PGA Awards nominations will now be announced on Sunday, January 12.” This decision follows the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ extension of its Oscar nomination voting period by two days.

The Oscars also shifted the announcement of the 97th nominations from Jan. 17 to Jan. 19. As previously announced, the WGA Awards also postponed announcing their nominations until Jan.
