Officers were called to Lea Mount Drive at 8pm last night (Thursday March 18) following initial reports of criminal damage to a car.
Cops say that a petrol bomb was thrown at the car by 'two offenders' but didn't go off. It is believed that the incident was targeted and Greater Manchester Police (GMP) also received reports of a firearms discharge in the same vicinity.
