Peter Schmeichel congratulated David de Gea after the Spaniard equalled his tally for the most clean sheets for Manchester United.

De Gea was in superb form in the 3-0 victory over Leicester City on Sunday afternoon, with the shot-stopper making two key saves to keep United level in the first half.

Erik ten Hag's men made the most of the lifeline given to them by their goalkeeper, with Marcus Rashford (two) and Jadon Sancho going on to score for the home side.

The 32-year-old is now level with Reds legend Schmeichel on 180 clean sheets for the club, having made 521 appearances for United since signing from Atletico Madrid in June 2011.
