Peter Kay delighted fans on Saturday by making a rare public appearance - joining Cat Deeley on the radio. The much-loved comic all but dropped out of the public eye when he cancelled his tour and all work commitments due to "unforeseen family circumstances" back in 2017.
After greeting Cat as Catherine, Kay joked he was "sick to death" of people wishing him a Happy New Year. Cat laughed as he told her: "You know when you get overwhelmed by texts, and you reply with copy and paste." Peter talked about the time he watched the stage production of Mamma Mia!, mocking Cat's midlands pronunciation of mama.
