Peter Kay breaks silence after kicking out hecklers from gig and Lisa Riley 'jibe'

Peter Kay has spoken out after ejecting three hecklers from his Better Late Than Never... Again! show in Manchester.The 51 year old comedian said the hecklers were spoiling the show for the rest of the attendees, claiming there comes a point where 'it's no longer fair' to the rest of the crowd.

He also addressed his interaction with a female attendee he removed from the show, whom he compared to Emmerdale actress Lisa Riley.

In a statement given to ITV's Good Morning Britain, Kay insisted: "I didn't realise it was an insult. She did look remarkably like Lisa Riley, I didn't realise that was an insult." One member of the crowd had persistently yelled "garlic bread," nodding to one of Peter's iconic punchlines, which resulted in the comedian having to call in security.

Another fan's enthusiastic proclamation of "we love you" also prompted a request for their departure, and the comparison to Emmerdale star Lisa Riley seemed to only add fuel to the fire for some fans.
