Murder probe cops investigating the death of a retired Scottish teacher whose body has not yet been discovered are hoping to track down a car.
Peter Coshan vanished from the Seafield Road area of Edinburgh around 11.50pm on Thursday, August 11, and was reported missing the next day.
Although the 75-year-old has not been traced, police believe him to be dead and are treating his disappearance as murder. Paul Black, 63, also known as Joseph Hillary, and Paul McNaughton, 27, have been charged in connection with the alleged incident and appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Thursday August 18.
Both men were also charged with theft and attempting to defeat the ends of justice.Now detectives are appealing to the public in a bid to trace a car in the Scottish Borders and Northumberland area of England between Monday 15 and Tuesday 16 of August.
