Peter Andre sets strict rule for daughter Princess's showbiz career

Just months after his eldest son Junior released his debut single, Peter Andre is already looking for ways to help his beloved daughter Princess find her feet in the showbiz world.

Speaking to OK! exclusively at last night's Together for Short Lives ball, our long-standing columnist Peter gushed over his children's achievements so far, but outlined some strict rules when it comes to joining the family business. "Junior was 16 before he was allowed to do any scheduled stuff," he tells our reporters. "And Princess is still doing GCSE's, so she's only does little tiny things here and there.

No scheduled work - nothing like that." Singer Peter - who last week celebrated his 50th birthday with an impressive family holiday to Dubai - shares son Junior, 17, and daughter Princess, 15, with ex-wife Katie Price, whom he married back in 2005 after the pair met as contestants on I'm A Celebrity.

But asked if they're happy for his two eldest mini-me's to follow in his showbiz footsteps eventually, the Mysterious Girl star replied: "Do you know what - they've grown up in this industry, they've learned to be respectful and they've learned to be really kind." Peter - who also shares daughter Amelia, nine, and son Theo, six, with NHS doctor wife Emily MacDonagh - also admitted he might need a helping hand from a close pal to manage his eldest twosome. "Plus, Claire [his manager] has been with me for almost 30 years, so she helps me with them," he explains. "And for me, that means there's every chance we can help them do something their way." Last year, Junior released his first music single 'Slide', later performing his first ever live gig last Summer, much to the delight of his growing army of fans who couldn’t get enough of the star’s.
