Peter Andre has surprisingly revealed that his mum, Thea, and Victoria Beckham's mum, Jackie Adams, were penpals when both he and the Spice Girls were at the heights of their fame. The 49 year old found fame in the UK in 1995 with the release of his hit Mysterious Girl, while the Spice Girls released their debut single Wannabe a year later.

And now Peter has exclusively told OK! how Thea and Jackie would send each other press clippings of the other's child during they heyday.

Peter said of the press coverage that surrounds him: "They read some of it here and there whenever they come to visit but I really should start sending some copies over to Oz – I don’t know why I didn’t think of that! "I usually just tell them everything I’m going to write about over the phone. "That reminds me – back in the 90s, Victoria Beckham’s mum Jackie [Adams] used to send my mum stories from magazines when I was in the UK, and my mum would send Jackie stories about the Spice Girls in Australian magazines.

How crazy is that?" Speaking of his parents, Peter recently revealed plans to return to Australia with his wife Emily Andrea, 33, their children Millie, eight, and Theo, five, as well as Junior, 17, and Princess, 15, who he shares with first wife Katie Price.
