Peter Andre has revealed the baby gender he is hoping for, as his wife Emily prepares to welcome their third child. The 50 year old Mysterious Girl singer and his doctor wife appeared on Thursday's Loose Women, 15 February, and played along as panel investigated old wives' tales to guess if they are having a boy or girl.

The couple, who have been happily married since 2015, already have two children together – Amelia, nine, and six year old Theo.This will be Peter's fifth time becoming a dad, as he is also devoted father to Junior, 18, and Princess, 16, from his marriage to Katie Price.

During the show, Emily revealed that she doesn't mind whether they have a boy or girl. However, Peter confessed that he is secretly hoping for another son, even though he feels lucky to have "both" genders in his children already.

Panelist Nadia Sawalha performed some 'tests' on Emily to try to predict their baby's gender. After Emily said she has been very ill during her pregnancy and Nadia examined her bump, Nadia declared: "That means a boy!" Next, Nadia did the gender ring test, which involves tying a piece of string onto a ring and holding it over Emily's baby bump to see how it swings.
