Pete Davidson is taking on a big new role. The 27-year-old comedian and actor is set to star in I Slept with Joey Ramone, a biopic chronicling the life of the punk icon Joey Ramone that is being produced by Netflix and STXfilms, Deadline reported Thursday (April 15). Jason Orley, who directed his Netflix comedy special Pete Davidson: Alive from New York, is also directing the film.
The two co-penned the screenplay, which is based on the Mickey Leigh memoir of the same name.
