On Saturday night (February 5), the 28-year-old Saturday Night Live cast member was booed by fans while he arrived at the Syracuse men’s basketball game at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse, New York. The booing shouldn’t come as a big surprise for Pete, who called the city “trash” during an interview on The Howard Stern Show three years ago.

In the interview, Pete talked about filming his 2019 movie Big Time Adolescence in Syracuse. “Dude, I was shooting this movie out in Syracuse.

The nicest hotel in Syracuse is, like, a f–king Ramada.” Despite the cold welcome, Pete stayed and enjoyed the entire game with his friends. “Hello, Syracuse Orange men, thank you so much for having me and my friends in the building,” Pete said in a video shared on sports reporter Mike Curtis‘ Twitter. “We had a really great time, so, peace?” If you missed it, Pete recently made a very big purchase with one of his SNL cast members.
