Pete Davidson was noticeably absent from Saturday Night Live (SNL) at the weekend (March 7-8, 2020) days after complaining he “should be done with that show because they make fun of me on it”.
The comedian, 26, joined the cast of the late night sketch show in 2014, but sparked controversy after discussing his experience on the NBC program in a chat with Charlamagne Tha God, stating: “I’m literally painted out to be this big dumb idiot.” When it came to this week’s episode, the star was missing from the cast – just one week after he skipped the SNL afterparty at L’Avenue at Saks in New York.
