Perthshire mum who lost baby daughter raises more than £1000 in charity walk

Perthshire mum has raised more than £1000 with a sponsored walk in memory of her daughter Hope. Erin Grieve set herself the challenge of walking 26 miles on October 26, which would have been Hope’s due date.

The 24-year-old was originally hoping to raise £150 for SiMBA - Simpsons Memory Box Appeal, a s a way of giving something back to the charity that is helping her cope with the devastating loss of her precious daughter.

Hope was born prematurely at 24 weeks on July 10, weighing only 1lb 4oz and fought hard to survive but, sadly, she lost her battle on September 1.Shoplifter lost plot when she found partner in bed with another woman Erin, from Crieff, also wants to raise awareness of the difficult topic of infant loss and let other.
