A doctor who has appeared in the past on TV is being investigated by the General Medical Council over allegations against him. Dr Tijion Esho, 40, has been ordered to work under special conditions and must be shadowed by a chaperone when he is with female patients during an investigation against him, reports The Sun.

This Morning is being investigated by the General Medical Council (GMC) following a string of allegations.Dr Tijion Esho - also known for being a cosmetic doctor on the reality show Body Fixers - currently has "restrictions on his practice", the GMC said in a statement.The restrictions mean that the doctor, who is 40, can't carry out consultations with female patients unless a chaperone is there. READ MORE: This Morning's Alison Hammond 'didn't notice' she was overcharged £10k for car service He is also unable make contact with patients outside of a clinical setting, except in life-threatening emergencies.A GMC spokesperson told the Daily Star: "Dr Oluwafemi Esho has restrictions on his practice while we investigate the allegations against him."We referred Dr Esho to an Interim Orders Tribunal at the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service in August 2022, who imposed a number of interim conditions on his practice."These include that, except in life-threatening emergencies, he must not carry out consultations with female patients without a chaperone present and except in life-threatening emergencies he must not make contact with patients outside of a clinical setting, either virtually or face-to-face."Dr Esho - who was born and grew up in London - was cast as the resident cosmetic doctor on Body Fixers six years ago.He has also appeared on Bodyshockers on Channel 4.And he has appeared on This Morning, which is hosted by Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, in the last few years.When he has been on the programme he has talked about procedures such as having filler.For more of the latest showbiz news from Daily Star, make sure you sign up for one of our newsletters here.Dr Esho who is believed to have a client list of
