Corrie Toyah lawyer's DNA link to Shona 'rumbled' as fans work out real identity
Coronation Street fans are sure they've worked out a key DNA twist to do with Toyah Habeeb's new lawyer.Toyah's attitude left viewers baffled earlier this week as she rejected newcomer Kim on the basis of her having a tattoo - and refused to take her legal advice. But now they think they've discovered a link between Kim and a longstanding cobbles resident - Shona Platt. The pair could be revealed as long-lost sisters, which could play into Shona's eventual exit storyline as Julia Goulding heads off on maternity leave.Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: "#Corrie that Toyah’s lawyer looks so much like Shona I bet they’ll turn out to be sisters!"They then added: "Could be Julia Goulding’s exit storyline too if she’s in shock with finding out." As another echoed: "This lawyer sounds like Daisy and looks like Shona #Corrie."If the pair are sisters, Shona could be in awe of her high earning counterpart and the pair could head off together to learn more about one another. It comes after actress Julia announced her pregnancy on the red carpet of the British Soap Awards, telling OK! Magazine: "It's been quite hard to keep it secret and they've dug out my maternity clothes from three years ago, so it's all systems go again."Discussing concealing her baby bump, she added: "It's generally up to the director or costume department to sort of try and conceal it a bit. Obviously, I'm not as big, I'm used to being a lot bigger when I had [first son] Franklin."So yeah, it's been alright so far, we've managed to keep it to ourselves.
