Johnny Depp organised two Jeff Beck tribute concerts. The first took place last night and another is taking place this evening at the Royal Albert Hall. The Pirates of the Caribbean star toured with the late guitar legend last year and they released an album together.

EastEnders stars Cheryl Fergison and Linda Henry led the celebrity arrivals at Paul O'Grady's funeral on Thursday as a host of famous faces turned up to mourn their late friend. Comedian Jo, 65, dressed in all black with a bandana as she paid her respects to Paul, who died unexpectedly at home at the age of 67, alongside ex-EastEnders star Cheryl, 57. Linda Henry – who is known for playing Shirley on EastEnders – was also early to arrive, as she looked deep in thought as she sported a black fedora and button down tailored coat.

Comedian and TV star Paul O’Grady has been laid to rest following a “moving” yet “jolly” service which included a eulogy from actor Julian Clary and a reading from Lord Michael Cashman. Paul, who rose to fame as Lily Savage before going on to host a string of television programmes, died “unexpectedly but peacefully” at his home on March 28 at the age of 67.

ITV star was laid to rest in Kent on Thursday April 20, following his death aged 67 last month. Ronnie Wood, Jo Brand, Gaby Roslin and BBC EastEnders star Linda Henry were all in attendance. Peter Tatchell also appeared, alongside Jo Brand.

Ronnie Wood has addressed rumours that Jeff Beck was invited to join the Rolling Stones, saying that he “wouldn’t have kept up with the timetable”.Wood was speaking to MOJO about the late musician, who died in January at the age of 78 after contracting bacterial meningitis.“He wouldn’t have kept up with the timetable! The final Rolling Stones album with contributions from original drummer Charlie Watts will be out later this year, the band’s first new music in 18 years.

ROCK legend Jeff Beck has died at the age of 78. The "Hi Ho Silver Lining" star passed away in hospital on Tuesday following a battle with meningitis, his management said. Tributes have described him as an "outstanding iconic, genius guitar player" and a "master".

The Rolling Stones are reportedly set to release their first new album of music in 18 years next summer. The news follows the death of longtime band drummer Charlie Watts in 2021.The legendary rock band spent this summer performing at numerous venues across Europe in honor of their 60th anniversary as a group. "I’m told Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood teamed up in New York over the past fortnight for recording sessions, alongside a raft of world-class session musicians to complete the initial recordings for their first output of original material in 18 years," a source close to the band told The Sun on Monday.

Franz Ferdinand‘s Alex Kapranos has shared details of a new six-part radio series.In August, Kapranos will join Absolute Radio to host a new series that will run every Sunday night at 10pm from August 7. Rolling Stones' BST Hyde Park in London on Sunday as generations of the band's children attended the show. Ronnie Wood's wife Sally, 44, appeared in good spirits at the gig where she brought along their twin daughters Gracie and Alice, six.  Two of Mick Jagger's children also turned out for the event as both Georgia May, 30, and Lucas, 23, were seen among the revellers.

The book features forewords from both Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, plus a prelude from the band’s former manager/producer Andrew Loog Oldham.The longtime Rolling Stones drummer died at the age of 80 last August prompting a huge outpouring of tributes from the music world and beyond.His surviving bandmates reflected on the “huge loss” in September last year before later dedicating their first show of 2021 to Watts.The new biography has been written by author-broadcaster Paul Sexton and includes new interviews with Jagger, Richards, and Ronnie Wood, as well as friends, family and collaborators.“Our dear friend Charlie Watts was not just a fantastic drummer but a wonderful person,” the Rolling Stones said in a statement.
