Naman Ramachandran Netflix India has expanded existing partnerships and forged new ones with several of the country’s leading production houses. They include T-Series, Red Chillies Entertainment, Pooja Entertainment, Viacom 18 Studios, Luv Films, Reliance Entertainment, RSVP Movies, Benaras Media Works, Maddock Films, Junglee Pictures, Balaji Telefilms and Matchbox Shots. Monika Shergill, VP, content, Netflix India, says: “With some studios, we have a partnership to bring more of their films on the service, like T series – we’ve been doing so many films with them – Pooja Entertainment, RSVP, Red Chillies, they’ve been long standing partners. But across the board, we are working with many.”

Naman Ramachandran Netflix India has revealed a first look and trailer for “Call My Agent: Bollywood,” the Indian adaptation of popular French series “Dix Pour Cent.”The series is produced by Applause Entertainment in association with Banijay Asia. In the show, four savvy, street smart talent agents manage fragile star egos to save their agency from closure after the sudden death of the founder.It is written by Abbas and Hussein Dalal (“Jawaani Jaaneman”) and directed by Shaad Ali (“Bunty Aur Babli”).The cast includes Aahana Kumra (“Lipstick Under My Burkha”), Ayush Mehra (“Please Find Attached”), Rajat Kapoor (“Kadakh”) and Soni Razdan (“Yours Truly”) in the lead roles.
