Stewart Lee will be curating a stage at the first edition of the Brighton Psych Fest.Created by the minds behind the city’s leading independent promoter JOY and the team responsible for both Manchester Psych Fest and Edinburgh Psych Fest, a new Brighton edition of the music and arts festival will be headed to the UK coastal city later this summer.Set to take place on August 30, the one-day event spans across some of the most iconic music venues in Brighton, and promises to be a celebration of all things psychedelic.Already, two waves of acts have been announced for the 2024 debut, with artists including The Horrors, Holly Macve, NewDad, Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs, SCALER, bdrmm, Divorce, Molly Payton and more leading the way.Now, the team behind the event have also confirmed that a new stage has been added – fully curated by comedian and music lover Stewart Lee. Suki Waterhouse, Men I Trust and more have been revealed as special guests for Mitski at this year’s All Points East.Other new names announced to the bill include Dan Whitlam, Lucius, Good Neighbours, Hana Vu, Molly Payton, Emily Jeffri, Sienna Spiro, and Jacob Alon.They join previously announced special guests Beabadoobee, TV Girl, Ethel Cain, Arlo Parks, Sir Chloe, Wasia Project, Infinity Song, Wisp, Towa Bird, Strawberry Guy and bby. Mitski’s headline performance will mark her debut appearance at the 10-day London festival.The festival date is set to take place on Sunday August 18 at London’s Victoria Park.

DEALSRound Hill Music has acquired the producer royalties and related rights of music producer Steve Lillywhite for an undisclosed sum. Lillywhite has produced artists including U2, The Rolling Stones, Morrissey and Talking Heads.Bucks Music Group has signed Molly Payton to a publishing deal covering the UK, Ireland and Europe, with Mushroom Music Publishing repping her songs elsewhere in the world.

Sports Team have been announced to headline this year’s Dot To Dot festival.They are among the first wave of acts confirmed for the two day bash which will be held in Bristol on September 25 and Nottingham the following day (26).
