Stray Kids, NCT’s Taeyong and Mark and more have unveiled new tracks as contributions to the official Street Man Fighter soundtrack.South Korean cable network Mnet took to social media on September 20 to announce seven new tracks for the upcoming ‘Mega Crew’ project mission, due to take place during the following week’s episode of the dance reality competition. The participating dance crews on the series are to choreograph dance routines to the songs as assigned for the next round of the match.Stray Kids and NCT members Taeyong and Mark were the only K-pop idols to have contributed to the Street Man Fighter tracklist, with the songs ‘HEYDAY’ and ‘LIT’ respectively.

The narrative gives prominent position to durians, the smelly Southeast Asian fruit that most people either love or hate. Neo (“Money No Enough,” the “Ah Boys to Men” franchise) will co-star, direct and produce through his J Team Productions. The film will be presented by J Team, mm2 Entertainment and Cathay Cineplexes. The story revolves around a man (played by Mark Lee), his abandoned Malaysian wife (played by Yeo Yann Yann), and childhood friend Mao Shan (played by Jack Neo).

NCT Dream have opened up about their thoughts on the group’s diverse discography and their approach to music.In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the boyband shared that they favoured experimenting with different genres as a means to truly express the group’s sound. The video also features behind-the-scenes snippets of the trio in the studio working on the song.After the announcement, fans noticed that the song had already been teased earlier in December 2021, through a dance video by noted K-pop choreographer Lia Kim.

NCT member Mark Lee has dropped his first-ever solo single, ‘Child’, alongside its grim music video.The new track was unveiled on February 4 at 6pm KST, alongside its accompanying music video. It opens with Mark lying unconscious on a yellow sofa in the middle of a seemingly abandoned factory, before we cut to the rapper wandering aimlessly within a decrepit sun-tinted room.“I’m a child / I can’t be the person you want / Have a good night / No need for a lullaby,” he sings in the song’s pre-chorus.The new self-composed and -written track is the latest addition to SM Entertainment’s ongoing ‘SM Station’ digital music project, and is the first under a new ‘SM Station’ project, dubbed ‘NCT Lab’,which will serve as a channel for the members of NCT to release new music, solo or otherwise, in the future.

NCT Dream are set to release new music this March, their agency SM Entertainment has confirmed.Earlier today (January 27), No Cut News reported that NCT Dream would be return with new music later this year. SM Entertainment later confirmed the report in a statement to MyDaily, noting that the K-pop boyband are currently working on music.“NCT Dream are preparing a new album aimed for a March release,” said the company, as translated by Soompi.

NCT has opened up about his road to becoming a K-pop idol, saying that he feels it was “destined”.In a recent appearance on the K-pop Daebak Show With Eric Nam, the Korean-Canadian singer/rapper shared that he didn’t originally intend on trying out for a South Korean entertainment company. However, he revealed that a series of strange circumstances eventually led to him auditioning for SM Entertainment.“Whenever I talk about my audition story, I always say that it was pretty destined,” Lee said, noting that when he was younger he was “very devoted” to his schooling life.
