Fred Sirieix ‘crying’ as daughter Andrea wins another gold medal at Commonwealth Games
Commonwealth Games.The 50-year-old star – best known as the maître d’hôtel on ITV’s First Dates – is delighted to see his 17-year-old diver daughter Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix capture her third medal, having already won silver in the 10m synchronised platform event, and her first gold in the 10m platform diving competition.On Monday, the final last of the games saw Andrea and her partner Noah Williams triumph in the mixed discipline event as their fifth and final dive earned them 74.88 for a total of 333.06.Taking to Twitter, Fred congratulated his daughter alongside a shot of them both and a look at the learderboard.He tweeted: ‘It’s gold in the mixed #diving #10m #platform #synchro I’m crying! Andrea and Noah well done to you both (sic)’Alongside a clip of their dive, he added: ‘What a way to end #commonwealthgames’His fans were quick to send their own messages of support, with one follower writing: ‘Huge congrats.
