Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen spoke about being randomly attacked outside a Four Seasons hotel for the first time. "I heard a couple of steps and then I just saw this [flash] and the next thing I knew was I was on the ground," Allen said during an appearance on "Good Morning America." "I landed on my backside … hit my head on the pavement." "I am no threat to you," Allen recalled saying to the 19-year-old boy who had seemingly come out of nowhere and tackled the musician to the ground. "I don't think he knew who I was, but he must have seen that I wasn't a threat because, you know, I've only got one arm," Allen explained.

Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen is feeling grateful.The 59-year-old rocker, whose left arm was severed in a 1984 car crash, was attacked in March while on tour in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.According to a police report released by the Fort Lauderdale Police Department at the time, Allen was smoking a cigarette in the valet section outside the Four Seasons Hotel when the assailant struck the dummer «at a full run,» knocking Allen backward and causing him to hit his head on the ground.  In an interview on , Allen described hearing a couple of steps and seeing a dark flash before being on the ground. «I reach my hand up into the air because I thought I was going to get attacked again and I just said, 'I am no threat to you,'» Allen described.

Can a bad twist ruin a good movie? Can a good twist save a flawed film? Are both possible? These are the sorts of things that run through your head when watching a flick that’s overly reliant on a third act surprise. Inheritance, out today, certainly thinks it’s being more clever than it actually is, but it’s a case where that poor choice doesn’t torpedo the whole thing. A chillingly ominous vibe and a standout turn by Simon Pegg, acting very much against type, helps to make this one worth your time. Plus, if the twist manages to surprise you? All the better.
