Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes, 20th Century’s latest installment in the Planet of the Apes franchise, has begun production at Disney Studios Australia, formerly known as Fox Studios Australia, in Sydney, New South Wales.

Kevin Durand is set to join 20th Century’s Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes starring Owen Teague, Freya Allan and Peter Macon. Wes Ball is on board to direct. Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes starts an all-new chapter in the Apes saga, picking up many years after the conclusion of 2017’s War for the Planet of the Apes. The screenplay is by Josh Friedman, Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver and Patrick Aison. Joe Hartwick Jr, Jaffa, Silver and Jason Reed are the film’s producers, with Peter Chernin and Jenno Topping exec producing.

The screenplay is by Josh Friedman, Patrick Aison, and “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” writers Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver.

Production got underway today in Vancouver, Canada on Season 4 of TNT’s Snowpiercer, with new cast members Clark Gregg (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D ) and Tony winner Michael Aronov (The Drop). Additionally, Emmy nominee Paul Zbyszewski (Lost), has been named showrunner and executive producer for Season 4. He takes over for Graeme Manson who was named showrunner in 2018, replacing Josh Friedman.
