It was previously announced that Season 3 of the Amazon Prime Video series, which is based on the book of the same name by Terry Pratchett and Gaiman, would be the show’s last. However, production was paused on the third season in September after Gaiman was accused of sexual assault by multiple women.

Naman Ramachandran Prime Video has unveiled a trailer for the second season of “Good Omens,” starring Michael Sheen, David Tennant and Jon Hamm. Originally based on Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman’s bestselling novel, “Good Omens 2” goes beyond the source material to illuminate the unique friendship between Aziraphale (Michael Sheen), a fussy angel and rare-book dealer and the fast-living demon Crowley (David Tennant). The duo are getting back to easy living amongst mortals in London’s Soho until the archangel Gabriel (Jon Hamm) turns up unexpectedly at the door of Aziraphale’s bookshop with no memory of who he is or how he got there. Reprising their roles are Doon Mackichan as archangel Michael and Gloria Obianyo as archangel Uriel. Returning this season in new roles are Miranda Richardson as demon Shax, Maggie Service as Maggie and Nina Sosanya as Nina, with new faces joining the misfits in Heaven and Hell: Liz Carr as angel Saraqael, Quelin Sepulveda as angel Muriel and Shelley Conn as demon Beelzebub.

Mrs Brown’s Boys will return to BBC One with a four-part series which had been planned for 2021 but was “thwarted twice” during the pandemic. Despite being a regular feature on Christmas schedules for more than a decade, the four new episodes will be the first mini-series run since 2013. Created, written and starring Brendan O’Carroll as mischievous matriarch Agnes Brown, filming will begin in spring with the series set to be broadcast later this year.

J. Kim Murphy “Trying” has been renewed for a fourth season at Apple TV+. The British comedy series will return for another new slate of episodes. The news of the renewal for the favorably reviewed series comes three days ahead of its upcoming Season 3 finale, which will debut on the streamer on Friday. When “Trying” premiered its first season on Apple TV+ in May 2020, all eight episodes became available to watch on the platform on the same day. Since then, the series has shifted to a weekly format, with a new episode becoming available on the platform each Friday this season. The Season 2 and Season 3 premiere dates are an exception, which both saw two episodes released at once to launch a new season.
