Arcade Fire have announced the latest gig in their “limited number of” shows, celebrating the 20th anniversary of their debut album ‘Funeral’.The band – comprised of frontman Win Butler, Régine Chassagne, Richard Reed Parry, Tim Kingsbury and Jeremy Gara – will be playing at Brixton’s O2 Academy in London on July 4. Warmduscher will be serving as opening support.A ticket pre-sale will commence on Wednesday (April 17) at 10am local time.

Arcade Fire have announced their only ‘Funeral’ 20th-anniversary show in North America, set to take place in Colorado.The band – comprised of frontman Win Butler, Régine Chassagne, Richard Reed Parry, Tim Kingsbury and Jeremy Gara – took to their social media to share that they are set to perform their 2004 album at “one of our favourite venues”, the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado on September 16.A ticket presale will be available starting May 8 at 10am MDT (12pm EST / 9am PT / 5pm BST). In the clip, Cumberbatch attempts to present the segment according to the script, but his efforts are scuppered by Nwodim and the members of Arcade Fire, who all chip in to individually introduce themselves.The clip ends with Cumberbatch walking off in mock-frustration, leaving Arcade Fire drummer Jeremy Gara to introduce himself on his own.

Arcade Fire drummer Jeremy Gara has announced details of a new solo album.‘Passerine Finale’ will come out on September 11 via Invada Records, the label of Portishead‘s Geoff Barrow.In advance of the new album, Gara has shared a video for the album’s first single, ‘wraith’ – watch it below.The new album follows Gara’s debut solo album, ‘limn’, which came out back in 2016.
