‘Battlestar Galactica’ and ‘Law & Order’ actor Harry Johnson dead at 81

Deadline on Thursday.Johnson died in Los Angeles on Jan. 2 due to a long illness.The entertainer worked in Hollywood for more than four decades, with one of his early roles being “Battlestar Galactica” in 1978.He then appeared in several hit TV shows such as “M*A*S*H,” “Quincy M.E.,” “Law & Order,” “The Incredible Hulk,” “Days of Our Lives” and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.”Additionally, Johnson had memorable cameos in “Dynasty,” “Who’s the Boss?” “Thirtysomething,” “Melrose Place” and “Party of Five.”In 1981, he starred with “Batman” actor Adam West in the TV film “Time Warp.”In the 1990s, he did major voiceover work and starred in the Harry & Louise ads — commercials that opposed former president Bill Clinton’s healthcare plan.Johnson also did other narration work on “Law & Order” for more than 20 years.

Netflix's Too Hot To Handle stars Matthew Mawhinney and series winners, Harry Johnson and Beaux Raymond, were fined nearly £3,000 last year for being abusive to cabin crew on a flight home after filming for the show.Series three of the hotly anticipated show launched last week and since its premiere, Matthew has reflected on the incident.He said: "We're just really looking to move forward from it as quickly as possible."Last year, Matthew, 23, the son of Britain's first female attorney general, Baroness Scotland, had been arrested alongside fellow contestants Harry, 28, and 23-year-old Beaux for their drunken antics whilst flying.Matthew had reportedly spat at a British Airways hostess and said, 'Look up who my mum is' whilst the trio was found drunk and disorderly during their flight home from the Turks and Caicos Islands.A court heard that the British Airways flight cabin crew had refused to offer the trio any more alcohol after they became verbally abusive and repeatedly taken off their face masks whilst on board.Days after the series launch, the trio have shared their apologies and comments on the situation.Matthew said: "Our behaviour was immature and irresponsible, and it's weighed heavy on all us, and we're just really looking to move forward from it as quickly as possible."Harry, who romanced Beaux on the show and went on to win added: "I hope when people do watch the show, they realise that our characters aren't what's been portrayed and obviously it just was a drunk mistake."
