Amy Adams and Maya Rudolph weren’t going to hide just how big Disney fans they were at the D23 Expo!

The much-anticipated and long-awaited sequel to Disney's hit live-action/animated musical Enchanted made its world premiere at the El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles on Wednesday.Some 15 years in the making, Disenchanted features original stars Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey, Idina Menzel and James Marsden, along with newcomers Maya Rudolph, Gabriella Baldacchino, Yvette Nicole Brown and Jayma May.Ahead of the screening, the stars hit the red carpet for a round of promotional  photos, which included Dempsey who had his wife of 23 years, Jillian Fink, by his side. Red carpet ensemble: Patrick Dempsey, 56, showed off his fashion sense in a black pinstripe suit, light blue dress shirt and black dress shoes when he attended the premiere of Disney's Disenchanted at the El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles on WednesdayDempsey, 56, stepped out in front of photographers decked out in a black doubled-breasted suit with pinstripes.He matched to classy suit with a light blue dress shirt and a pair of black leather dress shooes.Rounding out his overall look, the longtime Grey's Anatomy star had his dark brown hair styled short, slightly spiky, and pushed back up off his face.

It took nearly 15 years, but Disney is finally delivering on the sequel to its hit live-action/animated musical Enchanted (2007).And on Friday, Disney released the official trailer for the aptly titled film Disenchanted, which features original stars Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey, Idina Menzel and James Marsden.The new additions include the likes of Maya Rudolph, Gabriella Baldacchino, Yvette Nicole Brown and Jayma May. First trailer drops: Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey reprise their roles as Giselle Philip and Robert Philip for the Enchanted sequel aptly titled, DienchantedFifteen years after her happily ever after, Giselle (Adams), husband Robert (Dempsey), and his daughter Morgan (Baldacchino) move to a new house in the suburb of Monroeville. 'I know change can be scary but it also can be exciting,' Gisele says off the top of the teaser, which Robert responds, 'If I learned anything from meeting princess on a billboard is that sometimes you just have to take a leap.' Inspired by his words of wisdom, Gisele gleefully shoots back, 'Let's start our new life,' over top  of images of the family driving into their new neighborhood.    'Pretty soon this whole place will feel like home, you'll see,' she adds as the couple shares big beaming smiles of reassurance.

Disenchanted, the follow-up to 2007’s hit movie Enchanted.The trailer for the sequel was revealed earlier today (September 9) at Disney’s D23 Expo in Anaheim.Disenchanted follows Giselle (played by Adams) 10 years after she thought she’d got her “happily ever after” moment. But instead, a decade on, she questions her happiness and, according to a synopsis, “inadvertently turns the lives of those in the real world and Andalasia upside down in the process”.James Marsden and Idina Menzel will also reprise their roles from the first film, while Gabriella Baldacchino will replace Rachel Covey as Morgan Philip – Giselle’s stepdaughter.It was also revealed that new characters will include the villainous Malvina Monroe, who will be played by Maya Rudolph.In the trailer, Adams is seen singing from the balcony of her New York apartment and explaining to the birds around her that while “change can be scary”, it can also be exciting.
