A father and son have both been charged with murder in the shooting of PnB Rock.

Rapper PnB Rock tragically passed away at the age of 30 after being shot while dining with his girlfriend at a Los Angeles restaurant in September 2022.The Philadelphia-born star, real name Rakim Allen – who had collaborated with Ed Sheeran – was rushed to hospital for emergency treatment but unfortunately pronounced dead.The shooting occurred at Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles restaurant in south Los Angeles, with sources at the time suggesting PnB Rock was targeted for his jewellery. Now a man has been found guilty by a Los Angeles jury of sending his son, 17, to kill the rapper.

Steven J. Horowitz Senior Music Writer Two men have been found guilty on all counts in connection to the murder of PnB Rock. According to Rolling Stone, Freddie Trone, 42, was charged with felony murder, two counts of robber and one count of conspiracy earlier today.

PnB Rock murder case.Rock – real name Rakim Hasheem Allen – was fatally shot at South Los Angeles’ Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles restaurant on September 12 last year while he was at the eatery with his girlfriend, Stephanie Sibounheuang.The new suspects, Tremont Navon Jones and Wynisha Evans were both arrested in May in connection and have since been charged.The former appeared in custody at a Compton courthouse yesterday (October 31) for a hearing alongside Freddie Trone, the alleged getaway driver and father of his 17-year-old son who was previously charged with gunning down PnB Rock inside the restaurant, reports Rolling Stone.Authorities allege the juvenile pulled the trigger, but they also charged his father with murder too, casting him as the mastermind of the deadly robbery. Freddie Trone’s wife Shauntel Trone, was also charged as an accessory after the fact.Jones was charged with two counts of robbery, one count of conspiring to rob the rapper inside the restaurant and one count of illegal possession of a firearm.Evans has also since been charged with being an accessory after the fact.

The Los Angeles Police Department has arrested two suspects, an unnamed 17-year-old and a 32 year-old-woman named Shauntel Trone, in the shooting death of Rakim Hasheem Allen, the rapper and singer known as PnB Rock. The news was first reported by TMZ and confirmed in a press statement. The teenager is charged with murder and Trone faces a charge of Accessory to Murder.
