Rapper PnB Rock tragically passed away at the age of 30 after being shot while dining with his girlfriend at a Los Angeles restaurant in September 2022.The Philadelphia-born star, real name Rakim Allen – who had collaborated with Ed Sheeran – was rushed to hospital for emergency treatment but unfortunately pronounced dead.The shooting occurred at Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles restaurant in south Los Angeles, with sources at the time suggesting PnB Rock was targeted for his jewellery.
Now a man has been found guilty by a Los Angeles jury of sending his son, 17, to kill the rapper. Freddie Trone, 42, was found guilty of multiple charges including murder, two counts of second-degree robbery and one count of conspiracy to commit robbery.
PnB suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead in hospital. Police said the teen had removed items from the rapper after demanding his jewellery and opening fire.
Mr Trone was accused of driving the getaway car, according to local press.The boy, who is now 19, was also arrested on charges of murder and robbery but has not yet been found competent to stand trial.
