Disney has decided to delay the release of the much-anticipated, live-action remake of Mulan due to the growing coronavirus outbreak.The action-drama film had been scheduled to hit theaters in the US on March 27.The premiere had previously been postponed in China, where it was expected to be a box-office bonanza, due to the initial outbreak that was mostly in the Asian country.

Disney has cancelled the red carpet for the European premiere of the live action version of Mulan “in an abundance of caution” over the outbreak of coronavirus.

In Disney’s upcoming live action remake of “Mulan,” the Chinese characters for “loyal,” “brave” and “true” are emblazoned on the titular character’s sword — and those three words certainly resonate with the stars of the film.

Yifei Liu was the embodiment of a real-life Disney princess at the Mulan premiere on Monday night.

She picked one from a movie she loved as a child: "Reflection," sung by Lea Salonga and Christina Aguilera for. Years later, Liu would fly halfway around the world to audition for the titular role in Disney's live-action remake.
