Caribou has announced a new album called ‘Cherry’ under his Daphni moniker – listen to the track ‘Cloudy’ below.The Canadian producer/electronic artist (real name Dan Snaith) shared the title track from the upcoming project last month, marking Daphni’s first new music since 2019’s ‘Sizzlin”. Caribou has announced a huge outdoor summer show at Dreamland in Margate.The Canadian electronic artist and producer, real name Dan Snaith, will head to the UK this summer for a one-off event at the vintage theme park in Kent.Caribou will headline the show at Dreamland on August 26, which is set to be the first time that the artist will play tracks from his February 2020 album ‘Suddenly’ on these shores.Support on the day will come from Kelly Lee Owens and Marie Davidson & L’Œil Nu. Tickets for the show will go on sale on Friday (May 21) from here.Caribou is set to head out on tour in the UK in October this year, with further live dates following in January 2022.

Caribou is set to reissue three of his early albums, including 2001 debut ‘Start Breaking My Heart’, the producer has confirmed.The record was one of two Dan Snaith released under the moniker Manitoba, alongside 2003’s ‘Up In Flames’.He then switched to using the name Caribou on the 2005 record ‘The Milk Of Human Kindness’. All three of the aforementioned albums will be reissued this summer, with the new editions arriving in the UK on July 30.Each will be repressed on black vinyl, with only 1,000 copies made available.

Caribou have rescheduled their UK and Paris tour dates to May 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.Dan Snaith had originally been due to bring the live iteration of his project to these shores in late March and April, but those dates were then moved to September as the health crisis worsened.The Caribou Twitter account confirmed yesterday (July 29) that “unfortunately it’s clear we have to reschedule our UK + Paris tour dates again”, meaning that those shows will now go ahead next year.Unfortunately it's clear we have to reschedule our UK + Paris tour dates again.
