Coronation Street star Chris Gascoyne has portrayed the role of Peter Barlow on the hit ITV soap since 2000 and has been at the heart of dramatic storylines. Some of his most memorable storylines include tackling the hard hitting issue of alcoholism and his long fought custody battle involving his son Simon Barlow. Along with his most recent involvement in the case of Rufus Donahue’s death after it was revealed Peter had stolen and pawned one of Rufus’ watches before Stephen Reid murdered him.
