Prince Andrew has reached a 'settlement in principle' with Virginia Giuffre in a civil sex case launched against him.Ms Giuffre had accused the Duke of York of sexually abusing her when she was 17 at the Manhattan home of the late paedophile Jeffrey Epstein as well as at Epstein's private island. The settlement sum will not be disclosed, but lawyers for both confirm that Andrew will make a “substantial donation” to Ms Giuffre's charity in support of victims rights.Following the settlement in a Manhattan federal court, the lawsuit is expected to be soon dismissed.A document submitted to a US court said: “Virginia Giuffre and Prince Andrew have reached an out of court settlement.“The parties will file a stipulated dismissal upon Ms Giuffre’s receipt of the settlement (the sum of which is not being disclosed).“Prince Andrew intends to make a substantial donation to Ms.
